We are offering 2" 'Lemon Pie' Echinopsis Starters. Has a 4 to 5" bloom or (12.5 cm) in translucent lemony yellow with faint green tint, midrib purer yellow. Throat-circle light yellow. Filaments yellow; anthers sterile; outer stamens densely arranged in compact narrow ring and inner stamens grouped in small bundles within flower tube. Growth is globular in form. Blooms are slightly fragrant. Hybridized by Bob Schick. Aluminum tag included.
Echinopsis are very easy to grow. Simply plant in well draining soil....water when dry and fertilize often. They will reward you with many flushes of blooms once mature. A very exciting experience watching such extraordinary blooms emerge from such a simple looking cactus! Worth the wait!
